As of Friday, the EU anounced a ban on BPA plastics in baby bottles (read more here from the NCT, which has long-campaigned for a ban and hopes to see it extended to other products, such as baby food containers).
The ban won’t come into effect until 2011, but Born Free was well ahead of the game, as the first baby feeding company to create a a BPA-free range, back in 2006.
