A picture’s worth a thousand words

A child can never have too many books and the Scanimation range of picture books by Rufus Butler Sede (inventor, film-maker, artist) are genius! After creating some really clever technology called, err, Scanimation, Rufus found a way to make pictures move on a page without any fancy micro chips. I won’t bore you with the specifics of the technology (mainly because I don’t understand it), but in a nutshell, children love seeing objects and animals “magically” slither, jump and hop across the page as they read.
