IF YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT WHAT PUSHCHAIR TO BUY – CHECK OUT THE PETITE STAR RANGE OF PRAMS
What looks great, is compact, reliable and surprisingly roomy, has great handling and, of course, fits into tiny spaces?
A SMART car Petite Star Zia 3 + Stroller, of course.
We are loving this lightweight (6.3kgs) easy-fold award-winning travel system – suitable from newborns to 3yrs. It packs down so tight, you could fit it in your handbag (well, maybe not that small but it promises to fit into almost any car boot – even a SMART car!)
£118 is well worth it for such a great pram. Or you can get the Black polka dot Zia 4+, a 3-in-1 travel system (also suitable from birth) with a car seat and soft body cocoon. For just £269.99 from Precious Little One, the Zia 4+ comes with the car seat (with head hugger), soft cocoon with padded liner, cosy footmuff, change bag that attaches neatly to the stroller handles, shopping basket and raincover included.
We are in love. We’re in love with the baby and we’re totally in love with this gorgeous Swaddle Sock and Root Warmer Set by Tiny Turnip in the US. Designed to look like an athletic sock, you just slide it on your bub like a swaddle and he’ll feel snug and comfy and will look absolutely adorable!
Available for newborn – 12 months, it comes in a variety of colours. It’s a totally gorgeous newborn baby gift that’ll have all your friends talking about your newly acquired knack of selecting the best presents! Only snag, we can’t find it in the UK, but nothing I’m sure that the trusty postal service can’t handle.
You know how annoying it is when your baby takes her socks off in the middle of a shop and you have to retrace your steps back down the aisles looking for them? Well, help is at hand…or at foot… Sock Ons are worn over the sock and ‘locks’ it into place, almost like a straight jacket for socks. So when your tot tries to pull her sock off from the toes, the sock gets caught in the hole around the heel, keeping it firmly but gently in place. It’ll probably frustrate the hell out of her but at least she’ll come home with a complete pair of socks.
They come in 5 designs and are available in blue, pink and white. Due to popular demand then now come in two sizes: 0-6 months and 6-12 months. Available to buy online for £2.69 at Baby Days Out.
If you hate the thought of having to put a dirty, sicky, smelly muslin back in your gorgeous nappy bag, try these disposable Multi Use Pads from Neat Solutions. They can be stuck to anything, especially you, so next time you think your baby is going up up-chuck, stick this over your shoulder (soft side up) and burp away. It’s also great to use on car seats (for when “big boy/girl pants” have replaced nappies).
